The common layer should not be rebuilt in private.

Why this work is public.

Energy sites need the same basic work: connect meters, batteries, inverters and chargers; normalize data; apply limits; and expose a safe control path.

If every installer, utility and manufacturer rebuilds those integrations behind closed doors, progress stays slow and each system remains tied to its own cloud.

We publish the common layer so others can inspect it, add hardware and run it. The same work strengthens the Grid Connection Platform and gives partner products a tested foundation.

Open code does not remove responsibility. Sourceful charges for the hosted platform, encrypted relay access, supported integrations, support and agreed operations.

Sourceful builds the Grid Connection Platform. C&I batteries are the first commercial use because they can add controllable capacity quickly. FTW provides the shared device and control layer across sites and partner products. The code remains open; Sourceful charges for platform services, relay access, integration, support and agreed operations.

Open methods without publishing the production engine.

We are reviewing public reference methods for flexibility economics and a synthetic C&I Site Lab. The useful public layer is repeatable inputs, assumptions and test cases. Customer calibration, production dispatch and market operation stay with Sourceful.

Two ways to start

Run FTW yourself. Use Sourceful for relay access, integration and operations.

FTW can run locally as an open EMS. Sourceful works with organisations that need hosted relay access, supported integrations, platform services or a defined operating scope.
